Full Job Description –Preconstruction Manager
Structor Group, Inc. is a commercial construction company providing construction and renovation services to the commercial office, education, healthcare, retail/restaurant, and specialty markets. Structor Group, Inc. is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and dedicated associate to be part of our team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare cost estimates in a timely manner at various stages of design from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing
- Participate in project meetings, review schedules and prepare reports
- Review and understand project requirements
- Negotiate construction prices with subcontractors for competitive bidding
- Organize subcontractors’ quotations by trade with work items and comparative scope analysis
- Exhibit a full understanding of general conditions, fee percentage calculations and scheduling of projects
- Ensure Project Management team is provided with necessary documentation throughout the estimating process and work together on issues as they arise
- Maintain good communication with clients and subcontractors
- Demonstrate leadership of assigned projects including internal communication and meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Display strong time management and decision-making skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, internal and external
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Proficient in Building Connected, On Screen Take Off and Timberline Project Management preferred
