Piedmont Newnan Hospital – Linear Accelerator Vault Addition

Building addition with six-foot-thick walls and a three-foot-thick roof made of highly reinforced poured concrete added to active hospital. The addition houses a multi-million-dollar Linear Accelerator, a device used for external beam radiation treatments for cancer patients (made by Varian). Structor Group has built multiple Linear Accelerator vaults for our healthcare clients and has retroactively accommodated multiple new Linear Accelerators for Emory Winship Cancer Center.
